Description

Each reacted differently to their situation. One became angry, the other grew very, very quiet. Without names, they could only name themselves.

"I will become Absolute!" The angry one shouted. His voice was like cracking ice and things best left forgotten. "I will prove to the arrogance of heaven that they cannot make me disappear! I will never cease to exist!" He bore six wings on his head, with winged arms, and six wings on his tail. At this moment of the declaration of his name, eyes opened on each of Absolute's wings, matching the color of his eyes and having slitted pupils. 

His wings covered his original eyes, and, unbeknownst to either brother, those eyes would never be seen again for many lifetimes.

​He bared his teeth in a silent snarl, head turned toward the sky. Neither brother noticed that they had never been this sharp before.

Absolute was content to become the beast the angels wanted him to be.
